.asia is a continent TLD or we can say it is a domain name extension.
You can register new website like example.asia just like .com

It's a domain extension which doesn't carry much weight in the domain world. The obvious connotation is that it would appear to be an Asian site. Also due to its young history, there aren't many .asia domains out there (probably around 200,000).

Although, the .me extension has been around for about the same time as the .asia, and it has around 600,000 domains. So a lot has to do with the practicability of the domain and the breadth of usage.

A .asia domain would be most appropriate for an Asian site, so it's limited there. A .me has the obvious domain hacks such as find.me or love.me etc., and it has a personal blogging/portfolio usage as well, so there is a larger breadth of usage.

Theres just few .asia sites thats why i like it that people get to remember my site which is in my sig. 😀
