Games you thought were going to suck...

So what games you thought were going to suck, but then ended up being good?

So I finally got a hold of Okami. I was curious about the game after hearing all the hype from their overobssessed fanbase I keep running into. As most games I've played that have really obsessive fans, I usually end up being disappointed, but after playing this game, it's honestly a really good game.

Any other's found a game you expected to suck but ended up good/great?

I thought World of Warcraft would suck. *cough* boy was I right *cough*

I can already see this thread being moved to the trash pretty soon. When it comes to opinion most people don't seem to respect other opinions.

I thought that Soldier Front was going to be bad, but then I ended up playing it quite a bit for about a year. :lol:

I thought Arkham Asylum was going to be a "meh" game, since I've had bad experiences with past batman games. But I was totally wrong. Great game!
