Some of you veterans may remember a forum I ran a few years back called University Forum (I believe it may been Forums at the time). I've been considering reviving it and given that I'm pursuing a career in college student affairs, I feel like this could turn into more than just a hobby. I'd hope to make it a fun community, but also run it professionally so it could be a part of my resume/portfolio down the road.

I've got the domain (this time without the plural "forums"), and have the custom theme I commissioned before for xenforo. I'd need to get a new XF license but that's doable. I suppose my question to pose here is: would anyone here be interested in seeing this comeback? Moreover, would anyone be interested in helping with the project?

Feel free to share any ideas or thoughts you have for the forum/niche. Thanks.

My 'college' experience in the near and distant future is very likely going to be solely online-courses and certificates, such as through edX.. Probably not ever gonig to step foot on a college campus. That aside, I'd be interested in poking through a community geared toward students, if an online student like myself would fit in.

Go for it! A member here opened up a student forum but I think it may be geared for high school people.....I have no idea,,but it sure is nice. You can really do a bunch of posting/blogging and stuff like that for the new college student I tell ya.

You can work a college site in many different ways if your in The States and know a few people who really know the system.

Like some guy who digs forums and actually worked in Admissions that can write articles and all that jazz. Hmmmm.
