Go to movie theaters?

Do you yourself go to them? How often? Or are you the type who prefers to stay in & stream?
I would think more people sit at home streaming than go out. However, nothing beats the movie theater experience.

We went this year for the first time in MANY years and that was to watch Top Gun: Maverick. It was well worth it!! There aren't too many movies that catch my interest enough for me to want to spend the money.

I practically live nextdoor to a movie theater. Im there watching movies at least once a week.

Ideally, we go see a movie like once a month, but we haven’t lately. The movie theater business has been pretty slow since the new Top Gun and the new Jurassic World all came out around the same time.

The new Black Panther is the first movie out in a while that we would actually want to go see.

When I was younger I always used to go to the movie theatre. The last time I went to the movie theatre was with friends and we went to watch Austin Powers Goldmember. Now since the prices have increased like they have I tend to not bother with the theatre now and instead, I stream at home when they become available and just get some snacks in.

I haven't been to a movie theatre in over 20 years. I stopped going for multiple reasons including the high cost of admission, disruptive people sitting in the audience, poor quality sound systems, the scarcity of decent films but primarily because I have a friend with a dedicated high quality home movie room.

We used to catch one every few months however when COVID hit along with the cost of everything and I don't like crowds of people anymore we just sit home and watch one.

I used to go all the time but they keep putting the prices up. I'm definitely going in the next couple weeks to see the new Ant-Man.

It's generally a very special occasion when we go to them, which is very rare. If it's one of those must-see films, we may go to the theater to watch it.
