GTA Boards just moved to XenForo

I have been cracking my head over the past few days from moving my forum over from IPB to XenForo and finally took the decision today to move the whole forum over to XenForo. It did take a bit of time to import everything over and set things up. The basics have been setup and I am working now on the enhancements on the forum.

The reason I decided to move to XenForo is because I felt like IPB was quite heavy when it loads pages etc and XenForo just seems to do it quite easily specially the Ajax posting of replies. To be honest I was influenced by FP. Never been on a XenForo forum before as a active member other than FP and the whole forum just seems so nice.

Any tips and tricks I should know about XenForo?

I was going to say what happen and why you moved over, I do not think that IPB is heavy. Been using it for five years and always happy. End of the day they have good and bad about them.

True all forum platforms have their pros and cons I've used IPB in the past for a few communities which never really took off and I had my eye on XenForo ever since XF2 came out and I have been following them ever since keeping an eye on their features and so on. Their platform just appealed to me more than IPB.

Agree, XenForo is my second choice and most sites that I'm active on is using it.

It's as good as the reviews say, the software seems so robust. I'm loving every inch of it lol. If you are looking to move to Xenforo you should I am sure you wont regret it.
