I saw the official movie trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy and I think it's going to be a great film to go see when it comes out in the movie theaters.

Earlier in 2013, I went and saw the first movie of Phase Two in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This being Iron Man 3, and while it was entertaining, it didn't live up to the first Iron Man movie at all, and I left the theater feeling disappointed. The trailers really had me excited for the film. Thor 2 was next, and I have to say that I was really impressed with it, a big improvement over the first movie, and really just an enjoyable flick.

Captain America 2 really surprised me with how heavy the tension felt and a lot of the style that it brought with it. Basically, I guess what I am saying is that Phase 2 may have started off rotten, it has come together nicely and I feel like Marvel can certainly make Guardians of the Galaxy work.

I'm actually really looking forward to it. All comic book movies that are made by Marvel are always awesome.. but before when they weren't made by Marvel and were made by other studios like fox and such, they always SUCKED. Even though Spider-Man reboot has been 'decent' I still feel Marvel would do a better job.. among other franchises that they lost rights to.

This is one of the several movies that I plan on watching this year. Most recently, Marvel has been very entertaining with Captain America 2 and Thor 2, so I am hoping that they can keep it up.
