Have you ever been in a long distance relationship?

And that is quite important. I think my long distance relationships taught me a lot of patience and learning what I liked most in a partner. Like what is really worth the wait in a way.

Yes, I completely understand. Now that I'm in a relationship with someone who is really close by, not just via online communication, it does feel different and I learned that I had changed.

The only 'long distance' relationship I've had was when an old partner of mine had to go out of town for most of a 1 year period a few years ago. I don't think that makes me experienced on this topic, but I think mostly this kind of relationships really challenge trust :/

Y'all are in some pretty long distance relationships. 😛 Personally, the longest relationship I've been in is about 2 states over, and even then, we were only 3 hours away. 😛

Because it's not about the distance only, but also the state of separation itself. :lol:

When I was 19 years old.

I talked to a girl and tried to pursue a relationship...long distance in another state. We never saw eachother face to face and we quit talking after awhile.

I just don't see the point in long distance unless you're military and don't have a choice and you're married or something like that.

I've always dated women locally. Online it just doesn't feel real.
