Have you kept in contact with people?

Have you kept in contact with any members from your websites, or people you've worked with over the years? Part of the reason why I love running sites and working on them is that you have the opportunity to meet a lot of cool people from all over the world. I haven't kept in contact with a lot of people that I've known, however, there are definitely a handful that I talk to even though we don't have anything in common in the online world anymore. 🙂

I'm a late comer to the online world, being from the older generation, and my first forum experience was an eye opener and had a dog eat dog attitude. :shock:

However, members from that forum (now closed) are now with me, some are now staff members which have developed into trustworthy and wonderful people to be associated with.

One member has been a life long friend that developed from being a working colleague from many years ago. Staying in contact with people you have known in general can be very rewarding, not only from a forum perspective, but you can grow yourself. 🙂

I do try to keep in contact with close friends from forums I've joined. Back then we still talked a lot on MSN. Ever since it was removed and I stopped using Facebook, I lost contact with many of them. Now only talk to those I have in Skype and other social networks.

It's a great thing to keep communication open, though. Makes you feel awesome to have many friends from various places! 😀

I do keep in contact with some members of my forum. I have some of them on Skype and we just walk whenever. 😛
