He asked me what my plans were for Christmas

I was at the grocery store in the checkout lane when the guy scanning my groceries looked up and asked me what my plans were for Christmas. I was taken by surprise because I knew it was a question purely to make conversation and he really didn't care what my answer would be. So I tried to think of something that might make him smile and then I responded, "My daughter is bringing her bulldog over and I bought her a lot of toys to play with." He smiled.

Pet toys are the best! I got caught at the grocery store squeaking a bunch of them while trying to decide which one I wanted to purchase.

We're spending it with my parents. Doing what we always do. Have dinner, play games, chitchat lol
