no matter anyways, the forum is closing and I've started up a gaming forum the topic is titled Gamer Galaxy. You can also visit the site by clicking on the image in my signature

No a lot of them do quite well this one for instance:

But if its not about gaming or advertising your not going to get anyone to join nothing really. There is no niche in anything no more as most subjects have 9 million forums about them out there somewhere. Its a no win situation in many cases and most people will not join free boards. I believe he could do quite well if he got a TLD and some hosting so he would have more options. Myself am quite knowledgeable about that sort of stuff but have never considered a forum about it though its a good idea you cannot compete with the already established boards that have 10 million members most rooted in deeper than ticks on a hound. Does not look like your gaming idea is going to well either I know that feeling.

My point. At this forum unless its gaming or some off the wall stuff not many boards that are advertised here ever get off the ground.....
