How can I get hits on my new forum?

I know it's a specialised niche so I know it's not bad in that department. Just need users to visit to help make topics.

What can I do to attract a userbase and get them to join and post on my new forum.

I do know I need a new logo. That I'm aware of and am in the works of getting (through here).

To answer you honestly, you can't get what you want right now. It is a new forum, not indexed by anything, still a little baby. Everyone opens a forum and expects to get outrageous hits and so much activity that they don't know what to do with themselves. Sadly that is not the case. That is why so many forums close down after two weeks because they expect something that they truly cannot get.

My advice to give you is be patient, try and make all the right choices, and good luck.

Don't expect huge hits off the back like said above. It takes time, dedication, patience, etc.

Practice good SEO methods, advertise, advertise, advertise. Forums are usually harder to get traffic than regular websites. But good luck!

My forum's been going 5+ years and I STILL have to work my ass off to promote it to keep it afloat. It isn't easy, it never will be and I'm okay with that.

Your forum does have 10 members already. That's a decent enough base to start from, believe it or not you can build up quite a start with 10 members.
