We are getting tons of pageviews, uniques and a lot of clicks daily but we are struggling to get users does anyone know any good sites to get my site more popular maybe like cheap ads to display on peoples sites or something?

Since memes are your niche, I'd focus on social media for your main promotion. I see them all day long on Facebook. Try creating memes with your site's link on the bottom corner of them, post them on your timeline and page timeline along with a link to your site. Use your brain and make the kind of meme that just goes viral and you will notice an increase in traffic!
