How can I improve my forum SEO?

Ok my forum, http://1shotgg.com has been around for a while, but the problem is my SEO isn't really as good as I thought it would be. I want to try to attract gamers and streamers through google, so I can try to make the visitors watch our streams, but the only users I'm getting is through twitch. So how can I improve my overall SEO? Is there any theme changes I have to make? Any tips and tricks? Thanks a bunch! I have google SEO installed.

Are you using google webmaster tools? If not it could help also a robots.txt offering linkage to your sitemap would help also.

MyBB with the GoogleSEO plugin is pretty good but focus on your keywords and remember to try and rank for popular keywords in your niche, because you cant beat larger communities that are well ranked in the major keywords.

Ahh are there any tools to lookup popular keywords biased on my niche. I have heard of several programs, but I am not sure what they are called.

And yes I am using webmaster tools.

My tips to improve your SEO:

- Add a sitemap (I don't believe you have one)
- Submit your sitemap to Google, Bing, etc.
- Social media accounts
- Update your keywords if you feel they aren't effective
- Automated posts to Twitter, Facebook, etc.

You have to work on Social Media promotion, It will bring the visitors and Brand awareness.

Have you ever tried hosting for the same ? As what i know is that hosting plays equal role as what other seo activities does. It optimizes the speed and other factors like space that attract major search engine like Google etc.

I am already using a reliable webhost (digitalocean) sorry :/ its probably the fastest one out there in my opinion.

I do believe it might be my design, but i am not sure. If someone can look into that, that would be great! Thanks!

1 - Submit your Website in Google webmaster tool or Bing!
2 - if you'r using wordpress, Must use Google XMl sitemap.
3 - Try to give some backlinks to your website!

I am using google webmaster tools, and so far my impressions are around 5,000 but I'm only getting 50-60 clicks per day. How can I increase that?
