Anywhere between 25% and 80%, it really depends on the audience.
Adblockers tend to be more prevalent on mobile.
How does Adsense make money and is it even worth it to try Adwords (The advertiser side)?
Big board owners (actual big boards, not sites with half a foot in the grave lol) have told me before that Adsense doesn't pay them much, thus why they had to go for some of the nastier ad networks. I haven't really tried them though.
Google rakes it in as far as profits are concerned, but the threat is growing, especially in the developing world.

No idea but they so, they are very big. They do make allot of money from other ways of ads, YouTube for an example. Remember that when an client submit and ad, they have to pay an fee of 20% or more
One thing to note is that Google, is actually a surprisingly huge brand.
There is no one on the planet who don't know who they are. They can probably attract customers just on virtue of people knowing who they are, and then, that snowballs into a bigger and bigger advantage, plus they joined the game far earlier on than many of the others.
