How many of your members have never posted?

4 but one of those is an admin alias account which we use for testing things out

Don't be ashamed! I know a forum where over 100 of its 250 members have never! Not saying anything more...

6 out of 20 registered have not posted but 1 of those is forum admin from my host just in case anything goes wrong

4 members. But technically one is me. I always make a test member so I can see what my members see on certain things

Only 3? You've never gotten bots?

I don't know if your directing that at me. But since I have 3 members (Besides my testmember) that haven't posted I'll assume so. But no I haven't yet. No spammers. There have been bots look at the site but not sign up.

Mine prevents people from posting images and links until they have 5 posts and have been a member for 24 hours. What does yours do?

I hate that anti spam mod. I signed up for an advertising forum which had that installed. What made it even harder was the fact there wasn't really any forums that you could post in which weren't advertising forums where you kind of need to post a link or that defeats the objective -roll- . It would be ok for a forum like yours i suppose but not advertising ones or graphics forums -lol-

Best thing to do is to make your registration page unique with custom profile fields that are required to be filled in. Bots are programmed to fill in the default fields and not fields like "rate our forum out of ten" or "favourite food" - Check this video of spam bots - http://www.botmaster.net/movies/XFull.htm

Pretty much stops them registering if they can't figure out the I think 3 or 4 different mods we have installed before they're finally registered.
