My first ever cell phone was a Nokia. It was very large and heavy compared to todays phones. It also didnt have a color screen. But that thing was very durable and I must have dropped it a million times but it never stopped functioning. I had it for about five years. Since then I have been through several phones. They dont make them like they used to.
The problem with LG is that is all CDMA and CMDA companies (like verizon) take the software LG originally put into it and replace it with their own software. Their software limits many options and makes it so that you must spend a lot more money to customize your phone.
I had a nokia 5110 when it was very popular (the one that had all those different face plates and colored antennas). The second nokia I owned was a 2285. I've been through many phones since then. I will come back to nokia when I can get a subsidized price for the n900.
