How many songs throughout history

Music goes back to almost the beginning of time. There's been so many songs coming out over the years. How many songs in this history of earth do you think there are? I'd say probably around 5 billion songs!

I'd increase that to 7 billion. And with the number of songs in the world, I am still curious how producers and singers come up with unique melody (although there are a lot of songs that sounds similarly or almost the same!). Indeed, there are a lot of combinations just to create a piece of song.

5/7 billion if counting only humans. Keep in mind 'the beginning of time'. There are many species such as birds that 'sing' to attract the opposite sex. Rhythm and harmony is something we all on this planet encounter all the time, without truly noticing.
