How much SHOULD I be making per day on my forum?

I feel that for the traffic I get, I should be earning more than $.10 to $.20 from Adbrite.
Stats:
Ave 300 uniques daily
Ave 600 vists daily
10000 hits daily

Also, how should I bring up my revenue?

I had higer stats than that and made less money.. Adbrite is a joke. Their corporate headquarters are like 70 miles away from me.. I should go tell them to be more like google and stop being a joke. 😛

I have no sense of revenue really, so I couldn't say really. But what I can say is you should be making way more than what you are now. Have you considered selling advertisement space on your forum to your members? Like place a banner someone paid you to put on your site where the current ad system is, and see after 4 weeks if you generate more from that or the current ad system.

I did a bit of affiliate marketing and have a text link and the place sent me a tee shirt. The problem is 70% of my users barely know how to use the internet, don't know HTML or BBC. And I can only think of a couple members that have websites, none of which would buy advertising.

Crickey! I would use adsense but the tax thing is a pain in the ass to do. They probably wouldn't ban me with the stats I have (the site I got banned on I had about 5 uniques, all coming from a 100 mile radius), but the $100 payout is high. Would you recommend Bidvertiser? I rarely get clicks (only 4 in 4 days), but if I were to be shown relevant ads, I'm sure I'd get a ton more. Currently I'm getting ads about online poker and boob jobs. Not relevant.

It also depends on your niche. Consider who would advertise on your forum. Your niche would probably not be interested in something like graphic design, so an ad on design would not really get clicked.

I don't know too much about Bidvertiser, but from experience, I did get a few clicks, but at the rate I was going, it would have been at least 6 months before I could make $2.
