How often do you post in your announcements forum?

If applicable, how often do our forum owners create topics in their announcements forum? I guess not all forums have this kind of thing, but it's a very common forum that is typically located right at the top of the index. In FP's case, our announcements forum is called the News Center.

Very rarely to be honest. My forum is linked to a Discord channel, and pretty much everyone is on that channel, so it's just easier to push out any announcements in Discord itself. We also get instant feedback that way.

Twice a year? maybe 😳 Most new sites have allot of updates and new things to say and so they will post allot... But after the site has no more updates and it becomes bigger and older there aren't much anything to say and so there is no more posting.

I don't have an announcement forum because that's just a waste of space TBH. If I have an important announcement I just use the built-in announcement system in IPB.

I pretty much always have something that i'm working on, this one I am co-owner of, it's a tech based forum. Currently working on renovating stuff on it, so i hope to announce something soon.

I actually have multiple announcements forums and I usually use them whenever something happens, in other words, two posts could appear days apart or they might even appear months apart.

It really depends on and if something has happened, I sort of treat my FP promotion topic the same way rather than going for the usual approach of bumping it for nothing.

I do not have an independent forum, however, one of my websites has a forum. This forum is for the registered members of the website to discuss on site related issues, post payment ptoof. I also use the forum for announcements. When ever there is something to announce, I post on the forum.
