How to choose a web host for e-commerce websites?

If you run an online store, which web host are you using? It's been a while that I have been planning to launch mine, but I’ve heard e-commerce sites need more security, backups, and speed. The essence of this question is to guide me because I don’t want to go with the wrong host and start having payment issues later. So, which one is stable for e-commerce? Shopify?

Go with the hosting provider who offers a range of different hosting options. By doing so, you can change hosting plans whenever your needs change and you don’t need to change hosting provider instead you can upgrade services with same hosting provider.

I think you can start with shared hosting and then upgrade to VPS when your store starts growing

I wouldn't go with shopify, it is expensive service and you do not even have full control over your store. I would choose a self hosted store on VPS
