Just Google 'webmaster forum' or 'admin forum' and take a look at the forum posts in any subforum and you'll see they match the posts on almost all other webmaster/admin forums. From one forum to the next, people are just asking the same questions over and over again. And, for anyone who owns a webmaster or admin type forum, this can be bad news as most people come to a forum for new information, not a rehash of what's been covered on other forums. So that brings us to the question of how can you come up with truly original forum posts? These would be discussions that engage your forum members and make them want to respond or turn casual guests into new members.
One idea would be to draw from your own personal experience as an admin or forum owner and talk about things you experience daily. Even if the basic idea or question in the discussion is the same as covered on other forums, then at least you have still taken the time to add something new to the conversation by relating your own experience.
