Posting Into the New Year!
A Forum Promotion Contest
That's right! FP is hosting a contest to celebrate the New Year. What kind of contest is it? It's a posting contest. So tell all of your friends, your family, your enemies, and get ready to POST POST POST!!!!
How It Works
This contest will start as soon as the calendar says it's December 31. The posting goes on all day, and it will end as soon as the clock strikes midnight after January 1st. This gives you two full days to post.
At any time during these two days, click on the 'Post Contest' tab at the top of the page. Then, click on Join Contest. You will automagically be entered into the contest. After that, start posting! Threads are worth 2 points, and posts are worth 1 point. You will be allowed to view your points and the contest standings by clicking the 'Post Contest' tab. The contest will automatically end as soon as January 2nd begins.
The Top Three posters will win prizes (see below). In the event that there is a tie, the prizes will be given to both winners.
Rules/Guidelines
1) You MAY NOT SPAM in order to increase posts. Spamming is referred to as pointless posts, see our rules for spamming here.
2) Follow all Forum Promotion rules.
3) Using artificial methods to gain posts is not allowed.
4) Posts must contain at least 50 characters to count. Do not make one worded posts and expect them to count. The contest tracker will not give out any points to posts less than 50 characters long.
5) We reserve the right to change these rules at any time.
If you break the above rules, you will be disqualified, and possibly given an infraction/suspension/ban. When posting, use your discretion, or we will use ours.
