Hunting animals for sport/fun?

I completely agree with whaturmuva and MissTake (like the forum name btw). I mean, if you want to hunt, do it on foot, man vs beast. Predator vs. prey--not fly over the damn thing or drive by it shooting at it.

Besides, what point is there in hunting a giant friggin cat. Who's going to eat the meat? Congrats, hunter. You just ended a life so you can have a damn pelt.

Someone mentioned hunting for culling purposes which I don't agree with. Nature has been taking care of over population of animals for a lot longer than humans have existed. If you need the meat because you can't afford to go to the grocery store and buy hamburger, then OK I can see your point. How many hunter's, with their high priced rifles or bow and arrows can truly make that claim? And making a blanket out of the hide, come on, same argument.

To give you a clearer idea of my side though I must also say that I am morally opposed to Zoo's. Keeping wild animals in captivity just to make money is a crime against nature.
