Just installed my first phpBB MOD. I've always got someone else to do it, but this was a very simple one and took about 5 minutes.

You should give it a go all the time (assuming you test on a dev board first), I found it kind of fun and a great introduction into the workings of phpBB and PHP.

I know exactly how you feel 🙂 I recently did my own mod (quick reply) and it actually works.

Though the next mod I tried didn't....

Quick reply is included in 3.0.7PL1 you should have got that when you upgraded.
you turn it on in the ACP under board features

Well done it's the first step, and now you will have the confidence to do more yourself, just remember, back up everything, before you make changes.
