I got hosting at hawkhost, but I am stuck

Hey everyone everyone on my site is having trouble getting on it or its really slow so I boughed hosting now. But what now ? I don't find cPanel or what to do next ?
 
I tried it and I can. But what to type as username and pass ?

Edit: I got in but its my old cPanel from sitefrost, not that of hawkhost.
 
HawkHost should have sent you your username and pass when you transferred. Plus, your domain would need to propagate to Hawk's dns servers before you can use domain.com/cpanel
 
I took a backup, after that was complete I changed teh nameservers to hawkhost ns1 and ns2. It says it takes about few minutes, how long do I have to wait before I can use the hawkhost cPanel ? And with with pass word and username do I log in ?

name server change usually takes upto 24 hours and sometimes even 48 hours however it truly depends on the registrar so you can even start using after 15 minutes if updating is fast enough.

when the nameservers are fully updates then you can login to your cpanel through

and you can start using it's cpanel 🙂
 
Nameservers change depending on your registrar's backlog of changing domains. They are processed in the order they receive them. Usually about 10-30minutes.

Once done, you can do as Ashish said above.

my godaddy domains take upto 30 minutes for complete domains however the page starts showing up after 10 minutes.
 
Ah great but one thing is not clear to me when I got pay again, it says

Next Due Date: 12/02/2010

I don't understand, that is already past right ? I am also not sure that is the date they tell me I got to pay again.

i think that it may be 2 Dec. 2010

btw how many months hosting have you ordered ?
 
Ah great lol, I ordered 3 months, I had no choice to order 1 month.

Edit: It seems I still can't get into my cPanel for hawkhost, only via the fake URL not the domain one. :shrug:
 
link is working fine and you have to go into cpanel always through either placing /cpanel or :2083 after the url.

there you can now install your forum software and restore your forum 🙂
 
I know I can get into cPanel but its of my old host not the new cPanel of hawkhost. So should I use the fake URL to get into the cPanel of hawkhost and restore my backup ? Thats it ? Or is the problem that my domain DNS isn't yet to haw host ? I already changed it, but it seems to take quite some time.
