Allowing users to add their own themes is awesome. Definitely commendable.
Do you allow users to backup their own forum data and tables in case they ever want to transfer to paid hosting?
I had a huge issue with smfnew because they refused to allow me to have a backup of my site so that I could move unless I shelled out sixty bucks. It was a disaster and I ended up having to start over on a personal host.
Also, do you ever have plans to lift the rule on adult material? It can be very frustrating and tedious for an RP forum to find a suitable host when they never allow an iota of sexual content. I understand prohibiting pornography, as that would take up a lot of data, but is it really that big a deal if someone wanted to have an adult RP?
I also worry about about your one month inactivity limitation. It's a bit scary to me because anything can happen in real life, and if god forbid an admin has problems and can't keep up the site for a bit, to think it would be deleted just kinda scares me. Maybe making a back up and sending it to the user before deletion would be a solution?

Right now, we don't allow user backups. I back everything up weekly, and the host backs up every few days. If you need to move to another host, I can probably provide you with the tables on a case-by-case basis. I don't see a reason not to.
As for the adult material, I suppose someone could argue that with me if they want and I might allow it, I just don't want someone to use it for there personal porno dump or something like that. I also do not want it to reflect badly on the host if someone sees a forum with such an image and relates it to the icyboards.com domain name.
As the one month thing, we have been operating for 7 months now and I've only done it once and this was because a ton of people keep signing up with test forums and not using them (and I did 60 days, not 30). To be honest, once I get to my own personal servers, I could care less and will probably never prune forums. There is really no reason to, hard drives are getting dirt cheap per GB. That specific line is just kind of one of those "you have to have it" things in your TOS so someone doesn't come to me and be like "oh my god, you didn't tell me you would do that!".
