If a forum had an arcade on it

When some forums had them, I never took the time to play them. I just wasn't interested.

Yes I would. A lot of older forums had arcades which was great. vBulletin had some good arcade plugins that owners could buy & install, and others did too. Lots were old flash games, or similar. I have some great memories being back in the day & hacking (cheating) some of the games, as well as playing them legitimately.

I don't play games anymore though so I say Yes, as-in I would check it out, but it wouldn't be a longtime thing for me. Really not into gaming anymore at all to be honest.

@Demon_skeith I would definitely add an arcade to your forum. One of the first sites I built/coded was a traffic trading arcade site. It'll help you generate more visitors. I also know some banner exchanges for arcade sites that give free page impressions, if they're still around.

Users will always play older games. People love retro games, and newer ones.

When I ran SMF, I installed a SMF Arcade, and it was pretty fun to play some of the old nostalgic games that I grew up with, but I didn't see any conversions. In fact, all I ended up with was a bunch of bots trying to earn the high score titles! LOL

If I ever get the itch to play these old games, I've still got my old forum up, so I can sneak back in there to smash some owls, ducks, and helmet head whatchamacallits!
