OS-wise, Google(Android) is on top, then iOS. Hardware manufacturer-wise, yes Apple is on top.
How do you figure?

By researching a bit on who's got what market share for March, April and May.

That means squat. There are literally like 30 android phones out on the market right now, and there's 3 iPhones on the market.
That's not necessarily something for Apple's good column imo.

It is good. Shows you how superior iOS and the iPhone is. 3 against thirty. And the 3 is slightly behind.

That's why Android has fragmentation and sucks, it's open source. Apple worries about the quality and build if its products, not how many are out there.

Yep.

Actually, if you watched the WWDC they had charts that showed the market share of the mobile operating systems.

Apple was way far ahead.

Check out this picture:

Actually if you look here you can see the market share.

Also, 36.4% of Android users are using the operating system from 2011 (2 YEARS AGO) compared to 93% of iOS users using the LATEST software.

Only 29% of Android users are using 4.1.x which isn't even the latest version. Only 4% of Android users are using the latest version (4.2.x).

I think by now my point has been made.

I watched WWDC Live.

It depends on who does the survey, some people say Android has it, some say Apple does. A quick search showed Android had it, but yet another showed Apple did. And Wikipedia...anyone can edit that. 😛 Apple certainly does show the majority of web traffic, which may be what they did it on. And yes, I do know they showed a web traffic chart.

The picture you showed is revenue , which we were not discussing.

I hope you were directed at the people above me and not my posts mainly, but I felt you were directed at me so I responded.

I was watching it live too on my Apple TV.

I also saw that picture you attached while I was writing my post. 😀

It's true Wiki can be edited. I guess it's not such a solid source then.

iOS is the best though period.

Indeed. And I will fight anyone that says its not. 😛

I will be your ally in that battle. 😀

Apple and iOS will rule the world forever!

It would be really cool, but, honestly, what's point? :|
