Is a law case legit if it turns unconstitutional?

2nd Quote: Well, from the first day, the decision to put me on the bus was from my principal's boss(whoever that may be). So, it went from normal to complete cruelty. I'm not sure if it was the security guards, the principals, or the principal's boss who also made the decision to put me in the front instead of giving me the freedom of where I get to sit.
Fair enough; you should have said your civil liberties are being restricted, but from your first post, it seems you attacked/assaulted someone, is that correct? What was the behaviour plan and why did you get it (if you want to say)?

3rd Quote: That's true. I'm not targeting a few people, I'm targeting the whole group of people who do it. By "dire consequences", I mean going to jail and being tried as an adult.
I'm sorry to disappoint you but calling someone "gay or homo" is not punishable by incarceration, in fact, in 86 or so countries, being gay is illegal and some countries, being gay is punishable by death. Those people may get some form of counseling or behaviour bond, but not incarceration. You won't ever stop people using "gay or homo" and there won't ever be a law against it, especially when it can be used non-offensively. Yes, it's a social taboo, but it's not against the law.

1st Reply: My "attacking someone" was something that was already solved and I went through my punishments as such. My family construed the victim's appeal to the principal because his family might have thought that it was because of my homosexuality.

2nd Reply: Hey, I wouldn't know if it's right because when my school revived the mini assemblies to educate of sexual harassment, my counselor said you could be tried as an adult for it. So, I really don't know where he got his facts from.

-- 13 Mar 2011, 17:21 --

There are times when someone will call me gay, but it is kind of rare. I have been a victim of the harassment when it was directed towards me. I've been to the principal, vice principal, even the security guards. Those three were weak on taking care of it. The bus driver is able to hear it almost crystal clearly despite his ripe old age. Yet he is more focused on driving and people standing up instead of sitting down.
Which no offense is way more important than dealing with bullying, at least while he is driving the bus. I'd go see a guidance counselor, they're usually the ones that would be involved in something like this. The other school officials have probably avoiding things because it's simply easier to do than actually try and stop things. In the end though you can't physically stop people from saying things, it's best not to get worked up over it anyway. After all, it'll only harm your physical and mental health.

(unless of course it is constantly directed at you. Then disregard that last comment)

I can understand his attention to the street, but he can hear it and he doesn't even care to make an attempt to stop it.

You can in fact sue the school. It was on facebook and on the news about the gay boys who took their own life because of the bullying and it can be a suable cause. Get proof (video or voice recording) and go to the school board about it.

Schools don't have money to begin with, at least in the states. Suing them will only cause more harm to you and your peers. The only ones who'd come out on top would be the lawyers.

Taz what the hell is wrong with you? How dare you come in here and tell a kid being bullied he's possessed by the devil.. You're an uneducated bigot and i'll leave it at that.

To the OP, I'm sorry but you're a little off on the constitution. Let me be clear. The constitution does not mean that they cannot punish you cruelly or unfairly. That has to do with the legal system and punitive actions for breaking laws.

As for this whole bus thing, my suggestion is you have your parents call the superintendent's office. Tell your parents to make it clear that if your bus isn't changed, they will have no problem going to the local media and making a spectacle out of this.

Eh, what can you do, man? Do you really think someone calling you a fag, gay, etc. should really affect yourself (they're just talkers, after all)? If so, just suck it up and just move on. They're seventh graders (and I, by the way, am a first-year University Student). If their behaviour doesn't really change when they grow up, then that'll be the last you'll see from them, and you'll see why when you grow older.

If your principal is homophobic or whatnot, then there isn't anything you can do. If you do in fact believe that your principal is disciplining you because of a bias in your sexual orientation, then by all means you should be allowed to fight that. However, if you actually did something, then there's nothing you can do. You did something.

I personally am normally neutral in terms of homosexual marriage, but I typically lean towards in favour of gay marriage (I am straight, but at the moment single) only because I would rather not live in a world where people get discriminated for whatever trait. After all, it's not like Christian or Islamic people, to name some, don't sin. Then again, that's just my personal opinion. You're only human, after all.

By the way Taz, grow the hell up.

@katy perry is hot = Taz is a bigot. The media thing made me laugh a bit. 🙂

@el canadiano = I'm still unsure of if the victim's intention was because of me not stopping after being told repeatedly, or if it was because of my orientation. Still not sure on that one.

You did assault someone, and the bus driver has every right to remove you from the bus because of the known violence. I think you should really move away from such a thing; you'll be dealing with this your whole life if you choose the path of trying to defend yourself etc.; you'll probably cave in under the pressure, like with so many homosexual people. Plus, you're 14, I think you should focus on your education and not anything legal or whatnot; maybe become a lawyer, but you have to work your way, like everyone else, so if you end up succeeding and those kids don't, then who's at a loss? Not you for sure.
