If Carroll had scored 25+ goals a season, then fair enough, but no-way Andy Carroll is worth £35m when his goalscoring record isn't top notch.
I do think he's a very good player though, but he needs a decent partner up-front with him and I don't think any Liverpool attacker can offer that, expect from latest signing, Luis Suarez.
I would like to see Liverpool play this:

----Suarez----Carroll----
If they play that they will certainly improve their current league postion and be in contention of a top four spot again.
