Is it possible to build a "good" Gaming PC for $499?

I read posts online on forums, blogs, and YouTube that say you can build a good Gaming PC for $499.

Most of the $499 Gaming PC builds people post about seem to uses a slower Nvidia video card like the Geforce GTX 610 1GB, a Dual Multi-Core CPU like the Intel i3 or AMD APU, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, 500GB hard drive, generic motherboard, and smaller case with a lower wattage power supply.

Know what you are buying and yes. Many people over pay for motherboards or other equipment because they dont read up on it. Many come with the same power with less fluff. IE: many have features you probably wont use.

Does anyone know if CyberPower Gaming PC for $529
