I have a 2006 Seadoo RXT 215 supercharged jetski that has a badly scraped bottom due to beaching and rubbing sand. I had a professional quote the damage at $450 to repair. So I went out and bought the materials myself and begun digging in on my first hull repair job. 🙂 So far, so good. I am taking pictures as I go. I am using Stage 2 Bondo (Waterproof for boats)

As you can tell, I have a lot of sanding and a lot more bondo to do. 🙂

Also, just bought a brand new $100 gel battery for it too. Im getting it ready for summer! 🙂 Last summer was a blast on it.

~$400.

I just spend another $17 this morning on more sand paper. I bought 80 grit, 220grit, 400 grit, 600 grit.

I already had 150 grit. 🙂 More fiber-glassing and more sanding today!

J7nqL7x.webp(final until I get autobody gloss black. I used spray gloss black from the auto parts store. Two coats of clear gloss sealant on there now. Once I put the autobody paint on there, it will be finished. 🙂
