I am not sure what makes me really just like this domain, but something about it really satisfies my webmaster needs for unique web addresses. io of course represents input, output - a system io, or just general tech lingo! io, io - and of course, link. Well, it's an io link! Perhaps it is a link, or website that accepts and input and displays an output. This of course could be anything from a form, a full blown game, a web app or software, etc. You get the jist... That is how I came up with io io and after stumbling across the availability of the www.ioio.link domain, I decided to purchase it.
I am not sure if I will use it to provide CDN mirrors, hosted services, API gateways, or something else...
I've put some thought into creating a hosted MyBB service which allows someone to sign up & instantly access a fresh MyBB install on its own cPanel account... This would only take a few hours to produce and test. I could use Python or PHP, or really any language, to set up a new account with a database and files. To counteract malicious users a simple server scanner utility could be used to identify people misusing the system if any internal MyBB upload or $_POST exploits exist... It really would be rather simple to provide an automated forum hosting service and offer it for free to allow anyone to start a community...
To be honest, I really do want to provide a free forum service to the world some day. That would allow me to come full circle in the cycle of life I've had with my love for online forums...
