I lurked through here and other sites, reading thread after thread searching for reviews Learning about "unlimited bandwidth", unmetered and all that stuff.
Idk how but i somehow stumbled upon kristihost.com while I was on this site. Let me start by saying, this is not a host that has been around for years and years like hostgastor or some of the other veteran hosts.
Kristihost is a new webhost....literally I believe they began service last month. And that initially worried me and my partners as we tried to figure out what to do.
They are new...There really are no reviews on them(Good or Bad) so this is risky of us to join this host. So we initially wrote KH off but eventually came back to it. I started corresponding with Mark, the Ceo of Kristi Host bombarding him with a lot of questions and he answered every single question politely and enthusiastically. If I recall when I was expressing concern at their newness, Mark suggested some other hosts that I may want to check out that have been around awhile. Most people would try to figure out some way to manipulate you with lies. Mark didn't. He was quite honest and I appreciated that.
So we gave it a go...signed up and I have to say I am quite glad we did.
Mark is quite fast with responding to emails and replying with tickets. What I love most is the fact that recently there was a ticket sent to us asking about our first week and were we satisfied.
I can't really complain about Kristi Host at this point and time. It's only been about 2 weeks but it has been a great new start with them.
Price wise it is fair. I am new to hosts so I am not sure what is a good or bad price but for what KH offers I am fine.
Support wise it is Great as I stated above.
Speed wise is excellent...Coming from empire hostings, it is a noticeable difference in speed and I am quite pleased. My old host was not slow by any means but I am quite impressed with Kristi's speed even if they are in the UK and I am in America.
All in all, I have to say that Kristi is new and that can be off-putting. What if they close down? What if the support sucks? What if this happens or that happens?
But as their slogan says
"Small but reliable..."
Don't count the small guys out just yet
Mark doesn't seem like some guy just collecting money from us each month, he is quite helpful and I appreciate the lovely experience with Kristi host. I am glad to be apart of their beginnings and I hope to be with them as they grow.
