Largest Private Message / Conversation You've Been a Part of?

I was responding to a conversation just a moment ago and it got me thinking, this conversation is quite large...and indeed it is, over 57,000 messages. I think that has to be the largest conversation I've been a part of on any forum. I've looked at other forums I'm active on and, yep, it's the largest of any forums I'm currently a part of, and I don't recall any larger ones from past forums, so...neat.



What's the largest single PM/Conversation you've been a part of on any forum?

Yeah, it was sort of the perfect mix of chatty people blending together in a conversation, lol.

I believe that you just broke a record for anyone 😛 that's a crazy amount of replies and I would say that private messages is old if you look back and say when they first started hahahaha

For me, the biggest would have to be 289 😉 that I still have and never been removed right here on FP hahahaha

lol, I genuinely thought it wouldn't be that big comparatively, and yet...it seems like it might be the winner. I figured some would have to have 100,000+ convos spanning back a decade or so.

It's not even that old of a convo, all told. Without showing personal information, it's only from January 22, 2018:

Maybe on Slack we had some really LONG conversations...but I am usually mostly business in PMs on forums.

Understandable, chat programs do essentially make PMs/Convos obsolete, to a degree. Still fun to have the odd chat now and then 🙂.

Slack...I need to get back into using that for things again, I only have it setup to send me notifications from my network monitor. 😀

The biggest one I was apart of was that one about that contest you did on OT a while back and that was about it. The members participating started it about the coins. Not sure how many messages. But there was 6 or more people in that.
