I do video editing, and want to start learning editing on a mac the computer I use now is fine for editing but I was wondering shall I buy a mac or just use a booter so I can have a mac OS?

It would be my personal preference to purchase a macbook in order to avoid complications/risks the booting process might follow(If you don't know exactly what you're doing, that is). But since the pc you have now is fine, installing a mac OS on it would save you a lot money

Thats what I was thinking it's just a virtual mac os on your system that's really easy to install and I want to learn how to edit with macs just for more experiance etc.

I use sony vegas atm but I would be very un happy if I bought a macbook and I couldn't get used to editing on it or I preffered vegas.

Right. Well, Vegas Pro is rly good but I'm sure you're aware that is isn't mac compatible. New macs come a free software called "iMovie" already installed however, I highly recommend, Apple Final cut Pro- It's a excellent video editing software and if you've got experience using vegas pro, final cut shouldn't be hard to learn/pick at all. Most professionals in the media business use this

Final Cut for Macs is decent, I still prefer SV though as I just generally dislike Macs.
