Make/Suggest Some ideas and mods for Nintendo Addict!

I am making the New & Improved Nintendo Addict after moving of forumotion
My goal is to become one of the best Nintendo forums and there are a lot of comp out there

Now what could I add to the new Addict

Fell free to suggest some great mods that Nintendo Addict’s will enjoy or think of some unique ideas and I can mash all your ideas together and make one big idea

We are planning to return hopefully on a VPS Server (im paying for it) and a .info domain this weekend (or next weekend)

I would suggest that if you can, get a (somewhat) custom theme that features different nintendo icons and features, to make your forum unique from the others.

Take a look at other nintendo forums, and see what they are doing. Try to think of stuff they aren't doing, and then do that!

I would suggest to get a .com domain and then use shared hosting, it would be better for your forum. You don't need a VPS to host a small forum, and a .com will help your forum more then a .info. 🙂.

phpBB is a pretty good forum software if you know how to use it right.

A domain would be good, .tk won't get you very far.

All you need to know is knowledge in Php to install Mods

Well, you won't learn php while installing mods. They will just give a bunch of codes to add in core files.

Like, open xfile.php
Find:
this code
Replace with:
This code.

You will learn nothing. Just read php tutorials and practice it. That's better.

I might stay with mybb abd what typr of theme should I use A kighter theme or darker theme

No offense but if you want your forum to succeed use spell check! It's about professionalism sometimes and it is sometimes hard to read your posts.

I would go with lighter as it's a personal favorite.
