Do you have any members who would be willing and able to do the job?
If it's the forum in your sig, it's showing you already have several staff yet only 37 members total. Are you sure you need more staff at this time? That is, do you feel overworked, like you can't keep up yet still spend a few hours a day on the site?

Keep posts coming... always. Competitions give it a 'quick' burst in interest, but it is a forum, not a competition site. The most important is to consistently have new posts to reply to.
With your forum the way it is, I would recommend you request packages from different forums and post exchanges. 😉 This will increase activity, although, they won't stay most likely but the community will have some fresh new topics and posts for people to be interested in.
