Manchester United - Manchester City

I'm a United fan but unfortunately this is going to be a City win. I will support my team and have placed a bet for United to win (great odds!) but I just think our defense is poor and there are many ways through and around it. I do think that we will get a goal though.

Silva is still out, right?

I believe so... I reckon Balotelli will be on second half as well - horrible person but excellent player, such a threat.

Well I wouldn't say you have described him right there as what would you define a 'horrible person' ?

Yes, he is a character and he does a few silly things but he is a barmy lad and not a vicious player like some others.

How is he a horrible person?
I wouldn't say he is a horrible person but he is very immature and unprofessional.

Its personal opinion. I just think he is a horrible person, immature, unprofessional in all senses but a GREAT footballer nevertheless.

I don't think he's a horrible person but I can agree on you that he is a little stuck up and thinks hes better than everyone else and immature, If he fixed his attitude a little he could be a great footballer.

I'm a neutral supporter, I've lived all over the country so don't really 'support' anyone other than the England national team. There are of course certain teams I like more than others, I'm not United's biggest fan (by that I mean I don't really like the club) so in this Derby I'll be more inclined to lean towards City.

As for the game itself, the next goal will probably be the deciding factor. City need to bring Tevez on and score an early second half goal. The crowd at the Etihad need to get behind their team and get the stadium rocking. Sitting there in silence inspires nobody.

City have an unbeaten record to protect, it would be disastrous for them to lose it on their home turf. If United score the first goal in the second half, or even score at all in the second half, then it's my opinion that United will win the game for sure.

I've also got City in my accumulator today. >.<

City wll still win the title, United threw away an 8 pont lead last season, so 6 points is nothing.

Personally I think it's silly to say this early on 😛

Which do you prefer and why? Which do you think will win the league (if either)?
Man City. Red scum.

Jealousy reveals itself in many ways
Not jealous, still ore successful than man united. (Liverpool fan)

Oh dear not that old chestnut, you carry on believing it, as a Financial Advisor would say "Past performance is not a guide to future success"
speaking of financial advisors, man united are running in deep, deep debt.

Hicks and Gillett ran up £200m of debt, that is why they had to sell Liverpool, the new owners had to pay that off, to stop Liverpool going to the wall, then Kenny added to Liverpools woes by spending over £100m on players, it cost Liverpool £8.4m to get rid of Hodgson.
Liverpool have had to scrap the new Stanley Park ground because and I quote "The club cannot afford it", they are now relying on Liverpool City council to help re-develop the Anfield Road area, in order to increase Anfields seating to a massive 60,000, and in the process are ripping off their own fans, by offering well below market price fro house they need to demolish.

United on the other hand, expanded by paying the going rate for all the land and buildings they bought out during the Old Trafford expansion.

Don't get me started on comparisons between United and Liverpool on and off the pitch, because I can get you into a corner and never give you a way out, Liverpool are the most vile club in England, and their fans are very similar.

I am going with Manchester City on this one, I do like many of their players such as Aguero and Dzeko aswell as a few former Villa players. (Milner and Barry)

They just never knew when they were beaten, the end to the BPL season last season was just remarkable. They just never gave up last season and it takes alot of spirit to do what they did, I did say to myself if they beat Manchester United (that game towards the end of last season at the Etihad) they would go on to win it and I wasn't wrong there.
DZEKO FTW I always get bicycle kicks with him on fifa <3

I am going to go United on this, I just can't take to City for some reason and hope they don't get the league this year.
