MLBS Majors Music Community is a board created to introduce all types of genres. (Pop, Hip Hop, Rap, Dubstep, DnB, Trance, etc etc.)
We are also focused on making a huge network out of this project, but we found out recently that it is extremely hard to promote the website locally (friends on facebook, twitter etc). So we decided to make a forum, and thats why we are here. To create a dedicated user base of ideas and suggestions as to where you want us to take this project. We also have different topics to make others feel more welcome in the community. We are also beta testing a mod thats similar to facebook within the boards. We want to integrate all types of music promoting websites into one, with a nice social network feel. We don't want to waste any money on the server host that we have purchased and not have a user base what so ever. It sucks, but we are extremely dedicated to new ideas and suggestions. Coders and moderators are also welcome if they are interested in this project and willing to help.
We are also committed on working on a Radio station using shoutcast. We had one up but running a shoutcast server is pretty expensive i might add. But it worked out great from the little time we had it. Had a small user base of 50 local listeners, but we wanted more. Closed it down, but we will be putting it up once we gain more knowledge of the popularity of present and future songs to come.
But we have to start somewhere, and we can't do it with out everyone! True fact.
Local artists may also promote their music. If they are trying to spread their work (when we have a user base)
We will offer support on music software like, FLstudio, Reason, Cool Edit Pro. Etc.
We will offer updates on commercial artists, and sports.
We will offer updates on games for PC(Multiplayer), PS3, Xbox
And if things go the way we plan, we will open up a Private Server of a popular MMORPG [/b]
