FF > IE of course...

And it has all the addons man. Beside that...how on Earth would you not know FF is better than IE?
Any browser is.

Firefox has a bunch of add-ons, plus is updated quite frequently, meaning that bugs are often fixed and it is often becoming more compliant with changing web standards (something that IE could only dream of). It's also a fiery fox, which is pretty cool as well.

I've been using it for 5+ years and it's also been reliable.
I looked at wikipedia and saw that it took them a good 8 months to update 10 times on Firefox, While opera was about 110 times. Within the 10 times firefox updated, it was always stability updates and some bugs. While opera went from 10.10, 10.20, 10.50, 10.60, 10.61, 10.62. and now 10.70 (Which was started around i think 10.50)

Also, Opera is CSS 2.1 compliant. And got a 100/100 on the Acid3 test. While firefox got a 97/100

1. Opera is independently the fastest, full-running browser (therefore excludes Chrome; still in beta)

2. You have no proof that FF patches bugs quicker, let alone have proof that they are troubleshooting the exact same bug. Also, you're statement of "more people working on it" is flawed statistically. I can only infer, but Opera has over 750 employees, whereas FF has a mere 250 in comparison.

Opera is a performance browser, therefore does not require the need to attain to all CSS2/3 coding.

3. If a browser is just coming to 2008 standards for Opera

1. It's a lot more light weight, and personally faster at loading.

2. Right, I googled for about 10 minutes and couldn't find a dedicated place for beta released, alpha's. They have a bug site though just not easy to find stuff. Also opera gained 9 more dev's 😛
