Sometimes I post things for certain, specific people that's not necessarily a general, open post for everyone.

Edit:

I don't post them frequently, there's the odd couple on there but very few of them.
 
I've also started to release WordPress plugins too. Check it out and let me know what you think!

What I would suggest is to use a user role plugin, set up those who you want to see those posts into that role, and assign those posts to that role. So guests do not have to see password protected posts. If you need to find a decent user role plugin I'll see what I can find. A plugin that works with Buddypress MAY be sufficient. I'm not sure. I never deal with user roles etc.
 
Password protected posts are for a reason, it's not a permissions/users thing. I just choose to keep them secret that's all. 🙂
