Name one event that had changed your life for the better. Or, if you want to share multiple events that helped you out, then be my guest and share! 🙂

The event that helped me out, was moving from Las Vegas Nevada, to the rural countryside in Southeastern Idaho. The school atmosphere is much better here, and has helped me out quite a bit in my self esteem.

Honestly, and sadly, probably the death of my daughter. When she died, I left the man who'd abused me, both physically and mentally, for over five years. I moved far away from him and his family, met my husband, and now we have a beautiful daughter who's about to be one. It's still a struggle having to deal with the loss of my daughter, but I push through and for that, I'm a better person.

Hey that's great that moving has actually worked out for you! Moving can be such a hassle and exhausting but sometimes it's just simply worth it at the end. Question: Are potatoes really as big of a deal in Idaho as everyone makes it out to be? 🙂

I think you are an amazing person. I think it's incredible that you are able to speak so openly about this tragic event in your life; it is evident that you are strong person.

As for me.... an event that happened that changed my life for the better... would have to be the day that my ex decided he didn't want to be with me anymore and moved back out of state left me with no car, $10,000 in debt, on the verge of losing my job and my ceiling literally falling down. He left me in a position where I HAD to wake up, get over my shyness, gain confidence to get myself out of that situation.

Jail was a turning point for you? What happened, if you don't mind telling us. 🙂

Gave me the strength to get rid of an ex I was dating for two years. Also made me stronger within myself and my anxiety has gone.

May not have been a great experience but it's changed me quite a bit.

Moving to anywhere from Vegas would be life changing.

I honestly don't have much that truly changed my life for the better other than getting onto forums, and now I realize how eventful my life actually is.

Living in Europe changed me most definitely. It's super important to me because it taught me to be grateful for what I have here in the United States.
