As I'm sure you all know, I'm totally for gay rights, including marriage, etc... but what the hell is with this commercial? How does that advertise McDonald's even remotely?? If anything it makes gay look bad because the son doesn't tell his dad that he's a homosexual... so really like what's the point of this?? It seems like it's just some sort of corporate scheme to appease gay people.

No offense but I'm against gay rights. But i still don't see the point of this. I also don't care if they make gay people look bad.

I really don't get the point of the commercial.

What's the matter? I mean yeah gay rights but I don't see any problem in the commercial. They did one just like that a while back with no point (or if you can actually see past the literal view of it and see the point). Here it is.

Can't find it right now, but it was some little kid who asked his dad "What is sex?" and he gives him a long story while at mcdonalds. After all that the kid shows him a form to join some soccer tournament thing or something. 😛

loads of adverts have no point.

have you seen any of the Cadbury's chocolate adverts in the UK?

A guy in a gorilla suit playing the drums... to advertise a bar of chocolate.

The point is that they gets lots of exposure because they're different and interesting. As the article you posted points out, despite this advert only airing in France, it's been seen by millions all over the world - lots of free advertising.

I personally love the advert, tres cute.

Well actually when the Gorilla done an advert for Cadbury's Chocolate, he drummed along to a song - The Sash, and the main reason was to pee of Rangers fans.

I've ever see this spot on TV and ... it doesn't make me thought in a gay offense.

I mean, the last sentence is a bit wrong the real translation (who isn't so far as the subtitle) will be "You can have all your chances" this wont tell explicit about "girl".

Of course, you understand that the boy can have all the chances with girls but ... this isn't told at any moment.
