Well one of the new members we got came and brought her 2 best friends and husband and they love the site and have been little postwhores!! *lol*

Just this afternoon I added another category and a couple forums:
Site Promotion & Advertising [2 forums]
-- Affiliates & Exchanges
-- Promote A Site [Already made, just moved to this category]

---Mechanics & Greasemonkeys [Added under Life At Home forum as a subforum for car/bike/truck enthusiasts]

The other day we added a couple more categories:
Creative Juices [2 forums]
-- Graphics Galore [To show of your designs or request things]
-- The Written Word [for Books, Poetry, Short Stories, etc.. stuff you write]

Impressions & Opinions [2 forums]
-- Debates & Discussions [Hot topics discussed]
-- The Soapbox [Already created but just moved to here]

I deleted a few subforums as well in the current events section and did a general clean up.

The staff and I were discussing contests we might hold as well for such things as:
Member of the Month
Member of the Week
Recruiter of the Month
Sig of the Week
Avatar of the Week

We've never run these types of things before on the site but alot of the various forums I'm on do it and people seem to enjoy it as well..

Last night I ended up breaking down and locking up JS tighter than Fort Knox because threads were still being stolen WORD FOR WORD and added to that b***ards site..

I know this isn't a great thing to do from a new user standpoint but for the time being I gots to do it to save my sanity *lol*

We also added a Directory and any user with 10 posts that wants to add their website to it, can!

In the last week or so we added back the shoutbox, added a Chatroom, a credits/cash/points system, directory where sites can be added, show all posts buttons, espn bottomline in the sports forum, etc etc.. ..

A few additions to the site today:

x. Gallery - Can be access in the navbar, also has horizontal random thumbnails on member's profile and on the forumhome
x. PM Search - you can now use the search feature for pm's
x. PM Attachments - you can now send PM attachments
x. Friends List - your profile can now have a friends/buddy list
x. Profile Privacy - you can set your profile to public, private, friends only
x. PM Quote - you can now quote posts in PMs
x. PM's W/Avatars - your avatar is now used instead of a posticon in the pm list of pm's..
... that's just to name a few..

Current Stats:
Posts: 83,933
Threads: 5,475
Members: 148

A big boost in members in the last 24 hrs - 14 new members

And we broke 90K in posts 🙂

- vBDownloads: ability to upload/download files that members themselves up/download
- a links navbar with popular links added and may change from time to time
- 7 new arcade games !!
