When it comes to reading online news articles, who do you trust? I like to read about various topics but always take what I read with a grain of salt.

I do not trust any one site, I'll look at a few different sites and pull the common knowledge news from them.

Hey, that's what I do! 😀

If there is something that sounds credible then I'll accept it right away, but if it's something that sounds fishy, I'll search around and if a lot of sites have that information then I'll believe it.

Isn't it awful how there aren't too many true journalists these days who want to present truth? They want to spread their idea of the truth.

Yeah, but they need to do it to flare up views and keep people reading to back revenue.

I just read what BBC says while opening Edge up on the news feed 😛 But end of the day what can you believe. The media says what they want you to hear and not what really happens. They love to steer things up and make a huge effact about it with the public.

I tend to read the BBC fairly regularly but I stay away from other news sites. It's not that the BBC is more trustworthy but more so because it's easier to read the articles as it's not covered in ads.

I don't watch the news anymore, but I read CNN off and on.

I’d trust platforms that are backed by various editors, so like Slashdot for example for everything major technology related

I really don't fully trust any of them however when I do have it on it's CBC.
It's Canadian Eh.
