America wasn't really neutral until 1941. America gave its full support behind Britain and France in every way, including weaponry and goods for the countries. I'd just like to state that.

Back on topic with France, I bought two napoleons (i checked and in France they're called "Mille-feuille" at the bakery this afternoon... gonna have one tonight 😀
