Yes, I do notice few people buy digital files and services like software, E-books, Mp3s, web hosting, VIP memberships, website templates, etc from affiliate links I posted on my computer help blog, but more people buy non-digital tangible products like DVDs, Books, Memory Cards, toys, and computer parts, etc.

I think one of the reason digital products can be hard to sell because it is so easy to pirate software with file sharing sites, key crackers, and hacks, and there are usually free alternatives which are not as good, but good enough for people who are cheap.

Plus, I think a lot of non-tech savvy people don't see Premium Digital products and services as entertaining, and useful for their daily lives, and they just stick with the default programs and themes which come with Windows, WordPress, and other apps.

I'd rather have something tangible than non-tangible, but that has nothing to do with piracy. I won't buy DVDs for example because they have mandatory ads which are absolute crap, VHS hells yeah I like old films but most of the time I have to go through non official means to get them.

I prefer digital products if they are 20-30% or more cheaper then their tangible competitors, allow me to re-download the files as many times as I want, and don't come with copy protection which means I can only use it on one device or use some proprietary software and hardware to view it.

This is one of the reasons I buy very few DVDs since they can be hard and time consuming to backup/copy to my computer, and make another copy of on a blank DVD.

I only like tangible stuff like collector coins, limited edition comics, and other similar things which are timeless like cool watches and clocks.
