well it may turn out that the admin hacked it and was told to on the rival forum because I went on there the other day and they were talking about our admin possibly hacking it

I really really doubt that it was "hacked". phpBB2 is known for being a bit unsafe safety wise however all free hosts have there own security to prevent it from being hacked. I am 99.9% sure that it was some one guessing or knowing either your password or another admins. I have seen hundreds of cases with free hosts where people say my forum has been hacked and every time it was just either an admin giving his password away or the co admin got bored or had an argument with the main admin and decided to delete most of the board.jackwolves said:
