I like using Apple Pay or Google Pay for an extra layer of protection when making purchase online and even in person because many places don't accept cash due to COVID concerns. Do you have any other tips?

Paypal does a good job also 🙂 But at times things still can fail and things can get in. 🙁 At least amazon is safe enough when buying things. Good tip, pay cash in hand at your local store 🙂

We have one card that is dedicated to online purchases and no other cards are used online. That way, we only have to keep an eye on that one card for online stuff.

There are some simple steps you can take to help protect yourself from these scenarios:

1. Abstain from storing your CVV number or any other sensitive information on your computer or mobile device. This prudent practice will ensure that such valuable data remains beyond the reach of nefarious individuals.

2. Invariably ascertain that your password boasts considerable length and complexity, spanning a minimum of 12 characters or more. You may fortify it by amalgamating uppercase and lowercase letters, numerals, symbols, and additional characters such as "!" or "$," thereby rendering it significantly more impervious to unauthorized intrusions.

If you are not required to enter PIN to make the payment, and if you can just tap to pay, your credit cards can be easily misused.
